The result is available in the form of PDF of roll-numbers of candidates provisionally selected for the next stage (Subject Knowledge Test) instead of the complete marks list for each candidate.

It is important to note that the published list is in ascending order, as per roll-number, and does not show the rank list or merit order.

3. How to check result

Here are the steps for candidates to check their status:

Visit the official website of HPSC: hpsc.gov.in

Go to “Results” section on the homepage.

A PDF opens containing the roll numbers of the provisionally selected candidates.

Check your roll number in the list. If it appears, you qualify for the next step; If not, you will not be selected further in this stage.

Download and save/print the PDF for your records.

mportant: Keep your admit card, application details and registration number ready while checking; Although the published list may present only the roll number, you may need your roll number for matching.

4. What do the results mean and what are the next steps

The result on November 11, 2025 marks the qualification in the screening test stage. Those whose roll numbers appear are eligible for the next stage: Subject Knowledge Test (SKT) scheduled for November 25, 2025.

Being provisionally selected means that you pass the screening stage subject to meeting other eligibility criteria (education, age, category, etc.).

After SKT, further stages (depending on notification) may include Interview/Viva, Document Verification and Medical Examination.

If your roll number is not in the PDF, unfortunately you will not be able to proceed in this recruitment cycle for AEE - but you can analyze the performance, wait for any re-notification, or apply to similar posts in future.

5. What to do if you qualify?

If your roll number is in the list, here are the suggested next steps:

Read any instructions in the result PDF carefully (like reporting date/time, venue, document requirements for SKT).

Make sure that you are completely eligible as per the original advertisement (qualification, age limit, category certificate if applicable).

Download and print your admit card for SKT once it is available.

Revise thoroughly for the subject knowledge test: This stage often contains deep technical or subject-specific questions related to environmental engineering.

Keep all original and attested copies of your educational certificates, category/disability certificates, identity proof with you for document verification.

Keep an eye on HPSC website for any further announcement (interview schedule, merit list).

Be aware of any changes in schedule or additional document calls.

6. For those candidates who could not qualify

If your roll number is not visible:

Don't get discouraged – it is important to identify weak areas and plan for the next opportunities.

Try to evaluate where you are lagging behind: time management, subject basics, practicing previous years' papers.

Keep an eye on the HPSC site for future post announcements. Your application for this cycle still gives you experience.

If marks/cut-offs are released later (e.g. roll-wise marks), check and compare the benchmarks to guide your further preparation. Note: HPSC has started posting roll-wise marks for many of its exams.

Connect with peers or coaching forums to share resources and insights for improvement.

7. Main Features and Conclusion

AEE recruitment by HPSC is competitive (only 29 posts) which implies high competition ratio.

Screening test on November 2, results on November 11, shows that HPSC has an expedited schedule - once the screening is done, the next stage is completed quite quickly.

Transparency: HPSC releases result as PDF of roll numbers; Also posts roll-wise marks for several examinations on its portal.

For the candidates, technical preparation (given the AEE role), general awareness (about state environmental issues), as well as exam strategy (timing, accuracy) are important.

Stay updated: Any changes (date, venue, document list) will be notified on HPSC website – ignoring these may cause you to lose your chance of selection.
